Keystoning is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s ultimate teen program
Keystoning is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s ultimate teen program
This unique leadership development experience provides opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate, both in and out of the Club, in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone Clubs aim to have a positive impact on members, the Club and community.
Annually, BGCA hosts the National Keystone Conference, a character and leadership development conference for Boys & Girls Club teens that brings together members from all across the globe. Throughout the conference, Keystone members engage and socialize with peers, explore relevant issues, and develop skills to support and enhance efforts in their local Boys & Girls Clubs and communities.

Lights, Camera, Take Action!
The 2014 National Keystone Conference kicks off on Thursday, April 10, in Anaheim, Calif., where more than 1,500 teens and advisors will be in attendance. This year’s conference will provide teens with chances to explore the issues that affect them most, think critically about how they can have an impact, and develop plans to make long-term, positive change – for themselves, their Club and their communities. Members will attend thought-provoking workshops from some of the most exciting experts in their fields. They’ll also enjoy engaging sessions that address critical teen issues, service-learning events and interactive experiences in the areas of academic success and career exploration. Teens will also have an opportunity to plan for their future at the College & Job Readiness Resource Expo, a new feature of the conference.
